Pro:Yes, Kids under 13 have found their way around the 13 year old rule. 31% of 12 year old kids in America use or have a social network account.
Pro: Asymmetry may be seen in the following: a teenager may feel totally alone in their room with the door locked on the internet, while at the same time, they are totally visible, and without privacy, to millions of other people on the internet.
Con: A person can put a picture of themselves/family out there on a Facebook wall page, and then sit back and watch all the comments that come in. It is a place where you can grow and develop.
Con: Some children have parents who want to monitor their social networking, but they have learned how to keep their privacy and not allow their parents to know who they are talking to.
